Give small businesses room to build.

Put practical regulatory reform on the agenda for the people starting, running, and growing America’s small businesses.

The goal

Seek clearer rules and fewer unnecessary administrative burdens while accounting for the protections those rules are intended to provide.

Why this matters

Business owners often have limited time to navigate complex requirements or make their case to policymakers. Collective advocacy could give shared concerns a more organized voice.

Useful reform starts with a specific problem. Future campaigns could focus on duplicative reporting, unclear licensing requirements, or an administrative process that needs improvement.

How advocacy could move it forward

Before a campaign opens, its specific objective, scope, and proposed use of funds would need to be defined. A future effort could include:

Listen to business owners

Gather the practical problem a future campaign would address and identify the agency, rule, or legislative proposal involved.

Build a workable proposal

Evaluate changes that could make compliance simpler without overlooking the purpose of existing safeguards.

Take the case to lawmakers

A future lobbying partner could present the proposed reform and communicate how it would affect small businesses.

Fund the effort. Understand the limits.

Contributions would support advocacy, not purchase a legislative outcome. They would not guarantee that a law passes, changes, or is repealed—or that any other result is achieved.
