Planned next.
These are intended capabilities, not features that are currently available. Priorities may change as the platform develops.
Accounts and cause submissions.
Give people a way to participate in the platform and propose causes, with clear submission criteria and a human decision before publication.
Defined campaigns and responsible organizations.
Show who would carry out the advocacy, what work is being funded, the applicable campaign documents, and how backers would receive progress reports.
Conditional pledges and backer controls.
Build the pledge, cancellation, charging, receipt and support processes described in the Backer Terms. Current example checkouts create no pledge, payment authorization or binding signature.
Read the Backer Terms
Before contributions open.
A live campaign needs an identified payee, a clear advocacy scope, applicable Campaign Documents, funding and charging conditions, eligibility information, and an operating payment and support process.
We also need to complete the applicable partner, payment-provider and legal requirements for the actual arrangement. We have not announced a contributions launch date or confirmed lobbying partnerships.
Contributions would fund advocacy work. They cannot guarantee a vote, a change in the law, or another result.
Understand the planned funding modelBe there for the next step.
